This team, comprised of undergraduate students studying Engineering and/or Computer Science, pushes the limits of creative and durable engineering through the design and construction of combat robots. The interdisciplinary challenge of creating robots from scratch encourages students to develop real-world design and mechanical engineering skills while utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies available on campus.

Team Honeycracked is a combat robotics team from growingSTEMS; growingSTEMS is an organization designed to support Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education and raise awareness for STEM programs. Started as an outreach initiative by FIRST Robotics Team 836: The RoboBees, growingSTEMS (growing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Students) Is a 501c(3) non-profit organization with the goal of promoting STEM awareness and education in Southern Maryland and beyond.

Team Force Nova (Formerly Force Nacho) was founded by Tayshaun and Brian Jackson at the dawn of their combat robotics journey in late May 2023. The number of robots and events attended continually escalated through 2025, eventually adding Chris Davis to the team and becoming familiar faces at the National Havoc Robot League.

Max and Ilan just started college so they've been too busy to write down the origin story.
